Ladies Suit Style & Ocassion

There are three basic types of suits: the two-piece, the three-piece, and the tuxedo. Within those suit styles, there are endless variations on the material(cashmere,silk,wool,cotton,velvet), colors(ranging from the darkest to brightest color) button style (two- vs. three-button and double-breasted), pocket placement, lapel, venting and cut(slim fit, classic fit, modern fit…) 

 

  • Tuxedo suit : A tuxedo suit sometimes called a dinner suit is a semi formal wear with satin lapels, This is usually a tailored or regular fit, usually worn for occasion like Galas, wedding ceremony, charity events, award ceremony

 

  • Two piece suit: The two-piece suit is the most basic and most common type of suit. It usually consists of a jacket and pants, and it is versatile and can be worn for both formal and informal occasions. But usually more of a work outfit

 

  • Three piece suit: The three-piece suit AKA The Boss Look, the suit has a waistcoat or vest to the mix, and it is typically more formal than the two-piece. It can be worn to Board meetings, charity events, award ceremonies just like the previous suits listed above.

 

  • Double breasted suit: A double-breasted suit features a jacket with two rows of buttons, and a wide overlap of the front flaps.It gives a polished and powerful look, perfect for formal events.
