In the world of women and how elegant, sophisticated and daring women can be. We will be talking about the suit aspects of women's fashion, the different types of fabrics that can be used to make a perfect suit for women, and the occasions, events and functions they can be worn to. starting off with the types of fabrics. We have several types of fabrics, but here i will be talking about 10 specific ones; 

Types of fabric that can be be use to make women suits 

  • Cashmere: Cashmere wool, usually simply known as cashmere, is a fiber obtained from cashmere goats, pashmina goats, and some other breeds of goat. It has been used to make yarn, textiles and clothing for hundreds of years.

 

  • Crepe: Crepe is a type of crinkle-textured fabric that can be made from natural or synthetic fibers. It is known for its elegant drape and use in suits and wedding dresses, although it is also popular when making formal wear such as skirts and blouses.

 

  • Silk: Silk is a natural protein fiber, some forms of which can be woven into textiles. The protein fiber of silk is composed mainly of fibroin and is produced by certain insect larvae to form cocoons. The best-known silk is obtained from the cocoons of the larvae of the mulberry silkworm Bombyx mori reared in captivity.

 

  • Linen: Linen is a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant. Linen is very strong and absorbent and dries faster than cotton. Because of these properties, linen is comfortable to wear in hot weather and is valued for use in garments. Linen textiles can be made from flax plant fiber, yarn, as well as woven and knitted.

 

  • Cotton: Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll, or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants of the genus Gossypium in the mallow family Malvaceae. The fiber is almost pure cellulose, and can contain minor percentages of waxes, fats, pectins, and water.

 

  • Wool: Wool is the textile fiber obtained from sheep and other mammals, especially goats, rabbits, and camelids. The term may also refer to inorganic materials, such as mineral wool and glass wool, that have properties similar to animal wool.

 

  • Velvet: Velvet is a type of woven tufted fabric in which the cut threads are evenly distributed, with a short, dense pile, giving it a distinctive soft feel. By extension, the word velvety means "smooth like velvet". In the past, velvet was typically made from silk.

 

  • Damask: is a reversible patterned fabric of silk, wool, linen, cotton, or synthetic fibers, with a pattern formed by weaving. Damasks are woven with one warp yarn and one weft yarn,usually with the pattern in warp-faced satin weave and the ground in weft-faced or sateen weave. 

 

  • Poplin: Poplin, also called tabinet, is a fine wool, cotton or silk fabric that has a vertical warp and a horizontal weft. Nowadays, the name refers to a strong material in a plain weave of any fiber or blend, with crosswise ribs that typically give a corded surface.

 

  • Gabardine: Gabardine is a durable twill worsted wool, a tightly woven fabric originally waterproof and used to make suits, overcoats, trousers, uniforms, windbreakers, outerwear and other garment.
